It was ruddy pissing it down this side of the Pennines yesterday. Hopefully today will be a better day as I’m off tonight and want to get a couple of neighbours cars cleaned.

He’s a roofer so didn’t get it done as he got rained off the previous day.

I’ve done it before, when she was put to bed for the winter.

Wait, what is this number plate malarky?! I want stamped alu plates for the Series, but I’m not sure if I’ll get away with them on the road.

That M is shiny clean, which my cars came up that well!

They’re my ‘detailing’ plates so I don’t have to edit the licence plate out.

There are a few places that do legal pressed licence plates like EliteCarCar.co.uk they do the white on black for pre 73 car and modern black on white/yellow for modern day cars. They are reflective and conform to BSau standards.

Mine are just printed silver on black in current Charles Gray font.

She came up nicely but she needs a UV wash and wiped down with Migliore Cima Sealant, its fantastic on dark coloured cars.

Its a good idea. I never edit my plates before posting on here :/ then again, I never leave Wylam so if I get cloned more fool them. The Series is ‘85 so I’d probably get collared for historic plates, ah well.

To legally drive with silver on black the car must of been made prior to january 1973.

I got fully cued up on U.K. licence plates and vehicle lighting regulations after my step-brother’s boyfriend got pulled over for having a light under his car. FYI: I got the charges dropped for him. Winner winner chicken dinner.
